Holiday Hours
To give our volunteers a much needed break, we are closed every holiday long weekend.
We are closed July 1, 2 and 3 for the Canada Day long weekend.
We are closed August 5, 6 and 7 for the Civic holiday weekend.
We are closed September 2, 3 and 4 for the Labour Day weekend.
We are unable to accept donations when we are closed!
Volunteers are needed!
Regular volunteers are needed to run the store on a day-to-day basis. Help out once or twice a week, or twice a month. Click on the “Volunteer” tab above for our volunteer application.
Donation Update!
We accept your gently-used donations at the rear of the store:
Monday – Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm on a first come, first served basis. We may need to refuse your donation if we are full for the day.

I received a recommendation for Encore from the ICARE Furniture Bank when they were not able to accept my donation of wall units.
I called today to inquire about a pick up donation and dealt with a lovely volunteer. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name but would like to thank her for her friendly reception and eagerness to assist me. Due to a late cancellation I was able to have my items picked up today!!! Both Ron and Jack were very accommodating and proved to be enthusiastic ambassadors for your organization. I will certainly recommend your services to others.

We have a good selection of clothing, including jeans, which changes daily. The best plan would be to stop by and check it out for yourself!

We can take mattress pads if they are clean and in good shape, but we do not accept the pillows.

The prices are actually prices a thrift store should have. It doesn’t smell in this establishment. The volunteers are super friendly. And it is well organized and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit 2 days ago. My friend bought a couch for under $50 and it is beautiful and in great condition. She picked it up the next day without issue. I will be going myself within the next week to buy a couch or chair.
